For this writer the need for rhinoplasty-more commonly referred to as nose surgery or nose job-as a means of correcting one's features was exemplified in a photo of one US lawmaker as seen on the Web.
According to an online report showing his latest photo, former House Majority Leader Tom Delay has uneven nostrils.
The one on his left looked practically shriveled up while the other is only slightly open. This despite the fact that he supposedly had undergone rhinoplasty surgery.
While not all nose jobs are created equal certainly a man of Tom Delay's stature could receive better service that what he got.
But such are the risks one has to recognize and accept in getting that perfect nose. And thanks to modern dermatology surgery methods the means to getting that perfect chiselled nose can be made possible.
Hollywood actors still being the benchmark for physical beauty one reads through the papers and the Internet that this and that star had recently gone under the knife.
Wasn't it took long ago that actor Tom Cruise had a slightly rounded nose in his "Top Gun" Days? A listing of top actors and actresses who went under the knife and their before and after photos can be found in some celebrity sites.
According to tabloid TV--even half of the stuff you may actually believe---the mega-actor had been the recipient of rhinoplasty.
Also if you got a digital camera and some file photos you can compare Arnold Schwarzenegger's looks then as muscle-bound "Terminator" and now as "Governator" of California.
That's not counting the recent lip stitches he got in a motorcycle accident.
Simply put, getting a nose job is not confined to the women nor to the sissy "girlymen" anymore.
Men who want to look good, feel good and breathe good may want to consider a nose job as a viable alternative.
Just make sure you don't get second-rate service like what Tom Delay received.
Or else be ready and sure to sue your plastic surgeon.
