PEOPLE who still believe that bald guys don't have any sex appeal should watch "American Idol" contestant Chris Daughtry, whose rendition of a Stevie Wonder classic "Higher Ground" wowed the audience and judges last week.
Whether he makes it to the top ten or not may not matter to some though it does give hope for men suffering from pattern baldness who want to land that hot girl in the office or that saucy, neighborhood desperate housewife (but no trannies please).
At least for those whose social life is dependent on their need to score with beautiful women. But really, balding or thinning hair is a big issue among guys with little or no social skills.
Unless of course if one has some special talent that women can readily dig or take notice of, like a good singing voice (hence, Chris Daughtry) or athletic type skills like basketball or baseball.
Aside from the previously mentioned tips on improving one's social skills with women, it also doesn't hurt if one has deep pockets and even deeper bank accounts to boost his image before women.
That way one is assured of solving his baldness problems or bad hair replacement surgery.
But in real life quick fixes may not be the only solution.
More importantly though, is the pitfalls that men-whether balding or not-should avoid in order to enhance their chances of winning or keeping the girl of their dreams if he already got together with her in the first place.
Some of these "date traps" or tripwires include making comparisons between one's girl with his saintly old mother, scattering dirty laundry all over the house and not trusting her capability to do things one considers a man's job like driving and fixing stuff other than the kitchen.
With this and other helpful advice in mind, men need not worry whether his hairline's on the decline. The oft-repeated cliché of being true to oneself sometimes, just sometimes, works.
