Looking at those disgusting bulges around your waist may not be the right thing to do to start your everyday right. Furthermore, trying to get some numeric data from the weighing scale can be as bad, especially if you don't like an honest answer. Okay dude, you're not alone. Hundreds or even thousands of guys out there can relate with you. That irritating excess baggage protruding around your tummy, has been tormenting men like you for as long as, errrr, I can remember.
Well, if you're dead serious about getting fit and slim, then you need to be wary with what you are eating. Getting out from McDonalds with a full stomach for let's say, three or five times a week, is not a good indication that you're serious. Starving yourself out is not a good option either. Men, literally, need more calories than women do, so please, do yourself a favor – don't even try to follow a woman's diet program.
The good news is that it is much easier for the male species to lose those excess pounds than for the female tribe to do so. Thanks to our higher metabolic rate, men have lower tendency to store up fat.
Unfortunately, in the quest for that awesome body, men in general, have reservations on going on a diet. Some might think it is somewhat 'girly' to undergo such, so they stick to what they think as a more manly perspective --- burning up those calories on treadmills, and sweating it out through dozens of crunches and push-ups. Indeed, there's nothing wrong with that. Exercise is truly helpful. Who can ever argue with that? However, exercise must be coupled with a good eati
ng habit, so as to achieve the desired results.
Before you raise your eyebrows and roll your eyes, expecting that I would be suggesting a nice diet recipe to support my point, then you're wrong. It is of my knowledge that you must have heard a lot of things already about proper diet. The do's and don'ts that you've heard must have a minute appeal to you, since they are most likely directed to eating foods that you hate and avoiding foods that you love.
Well, today let's make it different. Ever heard of good junk foods? Weird, but true. Who would ever thought pork rinds and alcohol are actually good for you? Perhaps one or two do, but at least, the majority doesn't. But I guess, strange things are really being discovered these days. For instance, I really find it weird that coffee appears to be more beneficial than green tea, due to its higher antioxidant content. Weird as it may be for others, but for coffee lovers, there's never been news as good as that.
Moreover, who says we have to eat the same kind of food everyday to stay healthy? We can always try out quite unfamiliar but sure-fire healthy foods, that when given enough consideration, might practically replace the ones we currently consume on the daily basis.
