It didn't occur to me that plastic surgery is not good for people with claustrophobia until Brooke Shields laid the matter on the table. Shields says that she doesn't like to have plastic surgery because she is claustrophobic.
I tried, like, Botox in my forehead... I got so claustrophobic. I would get claustrophobia if I had breast implants. I'd be like, 'Get them out, get them out.' [Contact Music]
Despite this fear of being trapped by fake boobs and facelift procedures, Shields will appear in an episode of a popular plastic surgery drama series Nip/Tuck as a sex therapist. I suppose Nip/Tuck's set is big enough for Shields to breathe easily. And I suspect, Shields as a sex therapist, also gives advice to couples not to have sex in enclosed areas. An open space must be the most daring and exciting place to do the deed. Football field, anyone?
Botox in the forehead made Shields claustrophobic. I still have to do research on why on earth did that happen. I don't see the connection. Do you?
Did Shields just get so excited about her comeback episode and wanted attention to herself badly? Her words don't sound like they were given much thought.
