  A SUCCESSFUL rhinoplasty surgery-how does one count the costs?

  Well it depends in large part on where one is and how long the treatment is expected to last.

  Whether one requires the services of a Toronto plastic surgeon or a cosmetic surgeon from Los Angeles or New York, the corresponding costs vary according to the treatment, range of inter-related services and so on.

  According to smartrhinoplasty.com the average cost range falls somewhere between US $4,000 to $12,000. Average total cost is within the US $5,500 cap.

  This may include the surgeon's fee costing at US $4,000, the anesthesiologist's fee at US $700 and facility fee priced at $800. The fees vary according to region of county and patient needs.

  Now to the nitty gritty; stats from various medical sources reveal that the average cost of procedure for various rhinoplasty cosmetic services are as follows: basic rhinoplasty falls within US $4,047 while primary open rhinoplasty is priced between US $3,152 - $6,500.

  Primary closed rhinoplasty is placed at US $2,879 to $5,800 and primary septoplasty or turbinectomy is at US $3,500 to $6,500.

  A secondary open rhinoplasty costs US $7,000 to $9,000 and a secondary closed rhinoplasty is at US $2,643 to $10,000. Again these depend on certain factors and it's best to consult with the concerned plastic surgeon on this.

  Considered a simple cosmetic procedure rhinoplasty surgery can be performed in a surgeon's office-facility, an outpatient surgery center, or a hospital.

  The surgery is usually conducted on an outpatient basis to cut costs and for the patient's convenience. However the costs double when it involves more complex rhinoplasty procedures and it may result in hospital confinement.

  Thus it's important for people wishing to undergo a nose job to really count the costs, both economic and social, in order to arrive at a decision best for him/her.

Plastic surgery prices (national averages)
I recently was researching the cost of New York rhinoplasty, and came across a site called Cosmetic Surgery Magazine. They've got a page there that's surprisingly comprehensive considering it's a quick read about plastic surgery prices. They list the rhinoplasty that I was interested in, along with most of the other popluar plastic surgery procedures. Helped me. Hopefully, it can help others like me.

do you get what you pay for?
There's a lot of things to take into consideration when considering rhinoplasty/nose jobs. Personally i would never go abroad for nose surgery.
