A new study conducted by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery reveals that there are approximately one million men in the US who had gone under the knife last year.
According to the study, liposuction has become the most popular surgical procedure among men. There were about 53,263 liposuction procedures performed last year, most of them from male baby-boomers.
The current trend suggests that male baby-boomers have realized that they are competing with younger, healthier men both in the corporate world and in the social arena. This is the reason why many of them chose minimally invasive procedures to help them maintain their edge.
