1) Acceptance: You have hair loss. There's no getting around this fact. But it is probably not as noticeable as you might think.
(One of the advantages of female hair loss over male hair loss is that the thinning of the hair is more evenly distributed making camouflage easier.)
And you might even be currently involved in a hair restoration procedure like Rogaine or Propecia.
But until those medications really start to kick in acceptance that you are not perfect, as much as you would like to believe the contrary, is your best bet for dating success.
2) Visualization: Visualization is a powerful tool that can be used to greatly reduce the stress of any situation.
There was a study
a couple of years back that showed that high school basketball players who 'visualized' themselves shooting free throws improved at the same rate of players who actually practiced shooting free throws in the gymnasium.
The sub-conscious mind cannot distinguish between a visualized event and the actual event itself-so why not visualize yourself being comfortable, confident, and having a good time on your date.
Take just a few minutes imagining yourself acting exactly in the way that you would like.
Make sure to include all the visual details you can-this will make the visualization more effective to the sub-conscious. And then go have a good time.
'Trying' to be comfortable and confident will often end up with you being nervous and stressed out.
Visualize yourself succeeding and then let the sub-conscious take over. At least until your hair restoration starts to kick in.
