This is our way of contributing towards the reduction of anxiety for men who cope with the social implications of hair loss. So without further ado here we go:
***************
Dating can be stressful enough without the rigors of hair loss to go along with it.
While hair loss treatments like Rogaine and Propecia can be very effective they usually take up to 4 months to see results, not especially helpful if you've got a date for tomorrow night.
So what are you going to do? Well...it sounds simple but one of the best things you can do regarding your hair loss is to cultivate.....ACCEPTANCE.
Accept the fact that you have hair loss. It sounds simplistic and exceptionally trivial but a lot of people are in denial about their hair loss. (Donald Trump is a perfect example.)
The truth is, in regards to men, that most women don't find hair loss as unattractive as men think they do.
There was a study a few years ago that found women paid more attention to the physical state of a man's shoes than his scalp.
But oftentimes if a person is comfortable with their hair loss, and not wearing a hat or trying out any number of bad combover techniques, than the person they are courting will be probably be okay with it too.
And do you really want to be with somebody that didn't like you when you had your hair loss?
As Napoleon Hill said, "Acceptance that you are not perfect is ironically a great way to get that much closer to perfection."
More on this later....
