If They Mated

funny lookBeing a frequent patron of late night talk shows has its advantages for coach potatoes and insomniacs alike-it keeps you informed, amused and awake while your partner snores beside you.

One particularly amusing treat is the "If They Mated" portion on the show "Late Night With Conan O' Brien" in which the host shows pictures of celebrity couples and how their children would look like if they mated.

Thanks to computer generated imagery (ahem, CGI) they can play around and combine the features of the couple into one child that may not even resemble a human being. At times it can be so gross as to make you puke.

Other times it can be flat out hilarious. What would the child of popular TV host Star Jones and her banker husband Al Reynolds look like? Answer: The Tire Man mascot of rubber firm Goodyear.

Or what do you get when you cross an angry Doberman pinscher with Cujo the demon dog? Why you get ear-chomping Mike Tyson of course.

Or what if you breed the creatures from the "Aliens" and "Predator" movies? You get resident female puke meister and sometime rock star Courtney Love.

funny girlHere's a no-brainer; what happens when horny socialite Paris Hilton and her pet monkey get it on?

With her dingdong blonde looks and the simian's brainpower you get US President George Bush.

Hey that could be possible, come to think of it. If they can clone dinosaurs out of prehistoric DNA they could make a monkey out of Bush---I mean, they could make a monkey into George Bush (Jr.).

Speaking of officials what do you get when you cross Vice-President Dick Cheney with Sen. John Edwards? Chucky the killer doll, that's who.

Or what do you get when you cross Chucky the killer doll with Ms Chucky the killer doll? Courtney Love again (she sure knows how to get around).

That's all there is to it. With some imagination and a basic knowledge of genetics and Photoshop one could have a ball creating their own "If They Mated" folder of celebrity couples.
