Jane Fonda and Sally Field slam plastic surgery

  Two of the best actresses in Hollywood have finally broken their silence and spoke their minds on the idea of getting plastic surgery. Jane Fonda and Sally Field join forces in dismissing the thought, saying that they want to age gracefully.

  Fonda, 69, wants to age gracefully and not fight the ageing process, reports contactmusic.com. She also recently started a radio network for women to help empower them.

  She said: 'I realised that I'm going to be 70 in a year, and I have chosen not to have any more plastic surgery. Sally Field and I have kind of made a pact about that. We need women friends, women who challenge us.'

  Fonda says she wants to be a role model for older women. 'It's really hard, especially if you're a public person. But I want to give a face to aging.'

  Fonda and Field have officially joined the line of famous celebrities who swear not to get any more plastic surgery. Among them are Kate Winslet, Kate Beckinsale and Diane Lane. As long as they keep their word then everything will be fine. Whether they could stand by their claims and could afford to watch those nasty wrinkles show up without doing anything still remains to be seen.
