Keira Knightley and lip enhancement

Keira Knightley is best known today as Elizabeth Swann of the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. And though the actress didn't win the award for Best Performance at the MTV Film Awards, she obviously has gained a lot from the Pirates franchise.

Knightley admitted that she has had a lip augmentation to enhance her upper lip after being spotted leaving a plastic surgeon's office.

The young British actress said "Okay, I had it done. I had a larger top lip done." Knightly explained her leaving a plastic surgeon's office: "The reason I was there was to treat my acne though. I am only human as you can see - I'm a normal girl."

Though her role in Pirates of the Caribbean is a strong-willed woman who became the Chairman of the Board of pirates along the way, Keira admits that she has a low self-body image. In fact, she admits that she has publicly complained about her face, buttock, and weight on various occasions.

With that in mind, Keira is open to getting plastic surgery in the future. She said that in five years time, she might be probably already past it and having Botox, face lifts, nose jobs, and false hair.

Keira Knightly also confessed that earlier in her career when she was not an established star, film executives asked her to have liposuction and a nose job. But it seems that only the lip enhancement procedure was acceptable to her as of the meantime. Good for her though, she looked a lot better with fuller upper lip than the thin one she used to have in the past.

All in all, she made the right decision. And being considered one of the hottest actresses of today drives that point home.

Keira, Keira, Keira…

As if we didn't already like you, you're honest too! What's next? Charitable, as well. I read another post somewhere about how Keira's replaced Kate Moss in the Chanel ads. The post was about how they photoshopped the heck out of her picture, adding bigger breasts, etc. Keira basically said she didn't care; it's an add... it's purpose is to sell something. She's not going to appear in it, and then somehow try to exist above it. It is what it is - fantasy. I work with a doctor who does a lot of cosmetic surgery in Fresno, so I find someone like Keira refreshing. She doesn't lie about cosmetic procedures, and she doesn't lie about photoshopping. If you can do something to look and feel better, why not? And if you do, why lie?

Oh, Keira

I adore her and I like her honesty. Her new lips look nice... but I think - natural is better.
However, there are lots of celebs with BAD lip augmentations (see HERE ), and she has a nice one)
