Rhinoplasty or nose job has been around for several years now. Many clients have already enjoyed the results of the procedure, providing them freedom from their bumps, droops, and breathing difficulties. Though many qualified surgeons are adept at giving clients the best results possible, a portion of the populace is still hesitant to undergo the procedure because of fear that the procedure might go wrong or that they simply can't stand subjecting themselves to cuts and incisions.
Fortunately for this type of individuals, the Food and Drug Administration has just recently approved the use of Radiesse injections. Radiesse, a wrinkle filler, has been found effective in providing a non-surgical nose job to clients who want to straighten their nose or smooth out a bump.
APP.com delivers the details:
New York cosmetic dermatologist Cameron Rokhsar, one of a handful of doctors around the country who have been using the filler on the nose, says the procedure is risk-free, costs about $1,500, requires only local numbing cream and takes about 15 minutes. The patient can return to normal activity immediately, and the fix lasts at least a year.
Rokhsar predicts the nonsurgical procedure will gain in popularity, because people fear the knife or don't want to pay $10,000. There is a wide range of costs, depending where you are in the country, whether you're having it done at a clinic or hospital, etc., but this is base price in New York for a rhinoplasty. "The worst case (scenario) is that you won't like it, and the nose will go back to the way it was," Rokhsar said.
With its non-invasive nature and less cost, Radiesse injections is geared to become the next Botox.
