Recyclable Car

  Ever since protecting Mother Nature has become such a big thing, carmakers have been coming up with "green" cars, cars that don't do as much harm to the environment as conventional cars. Mercedes-Benz is one step ahead of this game, by coming up with the "Recy", a concept car it touts to be 100% recyclable.

  Resembling a wood carving, this "Eco-Roadster", says BenzInsider.com, will be made of wood, alloys, glass and rubber, hence the "recyclable" tag. This two-seater, which is intended to not have a roof, is expected to be one of the highlights at the LA Autoshow '07 competition

  Unfortunately, Mercedes Benz didn't say whether what's under the hood of this futuristic-looking car lives up to its "eco-car" billing, so that bit remains to be seen. Also, it's odd to think of a car as "recyclable" when "recycling" is probably the last thing a "Recy" owner would want, considering that he'll probably be spending a fortune on it.
