Shannen is pissed off about extreme makeover claim

    Shannen Doherty doesn't look as stunning as she used to be back in Beverly Hills 90210 days. In addition to that, she looked quite different compared to her previous appearance back then. These are perhaps the reasons why Star magazine claimed that she went through an extreme cosmetic surgery makeover. Shannen answered back with a vow to make Star magazine pay.

    Asked if she has had plastic surgery, Doherty insisted: "No.

    "I'm actually willing to go so far as to go sit down with whatever plastic surgeon they want to put in front of me who can inspect my face," she said.

    Doherty said she hopes to make Star magazine pay. "I'm willing to put as much money behind a lawsuit as humanly possible, just to sort of teach them a lesson," she said.

    It is quite obvious that Shannen is not open to plastic surgery as she also added that it is humiliating and embarrassing to be accused of getting something done when it isn't true. Shannen considers being accused of having surgery a big thing and so she is determined to make Star pay for what happened.

    Well, it is never a good thing to falsely accuse anybody of anything. But, something tells me Shannen is also overreacting. I wonder what Star magazine's supporting points concerning the issue.

    Shannen's made a career of being pissed off. I work with a Hawaii plastic surgeon (hey, someone's got to do it), and it's fun for us non-doctors in the office to gossip about who's had what done, if anything. Shannen? We can't decide. Sure, she looks a little different, but honestly, I hadn't seen her in a long, long time. Maybe, she ought to be giving a her agent a hard time rather than the trades, because at least the trades are keeping her face (plastic surgery or not), in front of us.
