Wooden Memory Sticks

wood stickIf you see a computer with a piece of wood sticking out of it, don't be alarmed. You're not in a haunted house where trees grow through apparently abandoned stuff.

What you're looking at in fact are wooden memory sticks, plugged into that computer's USB port. Yet another cool and definitely eye-catching innovation in today's world of seemingly endless cool innovations.

To say that these USB sticks, memory sticks, thumb drives, flash drives and whatever it is that we call these tiny little things we store tons of data in are very useful is an understatement. If not for this USB technology, we'd still be stuck with lugging around bulky, inefficient, and low-capacity floppy disks. To many people, these memory sticks are truly life-savers.

Now these wooden memory sticks are quite a departure from the usual USB sticks, as they are kinda bulky. But there's no destick woodnying the fact that the sight of a seemingly small tree growing out of your laptop is way too cool. And seeing other people's reactions to seeing one attached to a computer is absolutely priceless. You can just imagine how your wife would freak out if you stuck one into her computer and not tell her about it.

Available in 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB capacities, these handmade wooden memory sticks also feature USB 2.0 connections, and work with Windows and Macs.

If you have a dog, however, getting a wooden memory stick might not be such a good idea. You wouldn't want to lose all your data in a game of fetch, would you?
