It is not something that would give you a migraine, but it is indeed quite a problem when tattoos start to lose their appeal. In fact, if those hearts, flowers, snakes or whatever marks you had your tattoo artist painted on your body start to annoy rather than amuse, you might as well start thinking of ways on how to get rid of them.

After enduring the painful process of getting those now regrettable marks from a licensed tattoo artist, you are now finding ways to get rid of these body marks and hope that you don't have to go through a painful (again?) solution to address the dilemma.

Good thing there is indeed a painless way to tattoo removal. Rank My Tattoos provides an article that talks about a wonder cream that can successfully remove tattoos within a couple of weeks. Here is what the article has to say:

The makers of Wrecking Balm boast of their magical product: a cream that causes your tattoo to fade away. The process requires a system of physical tissue deconstruction along with the cream as well as botanical chemical peels.

However, the main factors one must consider before jumping on the bandwagon are the ink density, depth, surface size, and color of the tattoo. In order to be successful with the cream, you must use it consistently for weeks to get any type of results. After a few weeks, your body's ability to renew surface cells becomes stronger and the skin will be regenerated, causing the tattoo to fade.

Now that's absolutely a painless method to fade those tattoos away. If your tattoos are qualified for removal based on the criteria given, then you are on your way to freedom from those now unsightly marks. And with the cost of $150 and a money-back guarantee, it's absolutely pain-free and worry-free. If this isn't the best deal ever, I don't know what else to call this.

I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT PRODUCT

wrecking balm is a rip off

I bought the 2 month supply of the wrecking balm(around $200) a couple of weeks ago, and found out that the diffusing cream is just 1% hydroquinone, which can be bought over the counter as a skin lightener at a drug store for about $6. The demo-brasion spray is just an exfoliator spray. I suggest you save your money and go to walgreens to buy the skin lightener stuff along with a nice apricot scrub instead. The wrecking balm directions call for using the skin lightener twice a day, and every third day exfoliate the tattoo.

    wrecking balm

i have used wrecking balm for 2 months now and the only thing it lightened was my skin. it did nothing what so ever to lighten my tattoo almost seems as if my tattoo looks newer than before in some parts. buyer beware!!!

    wrecking balm

I called them a few hours ago just to get a price and some general information. The cheapest kit was about $120 for a three-month supply. I just need to cover man's name, so it would be cheaper to get a cover-up tattoo. The hard sell tactic was amazing. When I told him I wanted to look on-line for recommendations, he about flipped. I had to finally hang up on the guy.

    Wrecking Balm

Tats are kewl. No matter how much of a douche-bag I am, strippers think I'm hot. It makes life so much easier to figure out which chicks put-out by the "tramp stamp" on their lower back.

My sleeve tats insure I will always have a job as a cashier. Woo-hoo!!!

    wrecking balm

Does that wreckin balm stuff work? and do you think it's smart to just go and get the active or main ingredient from a store? what about the other ingredients in it? they may actually have something to do with the remoal. But I was thinking of buying like 2 of the 6 month treatments for $300 a piece which the laser removal would cost $250per treatment and they said 5+ treatments. so does anyone have any pictures from or have actually used this wrecking balm cause I'd rather spend 600 and not 1250. and it's definately needed, I got "fuck yinz" on my knuckles and they don't like that in the health care profession...so please someone give me some info

    Knuckle tats.....

    Jessee...

Why not just get the "yinz" changed to HMO's ?

    ;)

    Wrecking Balm

I see someone wrote they'd rather spend $600 for wrecking balm then $1250 for 5 treatments of laser removal...wrecking balm doesn't seem to be so guaranteed after all...but i believe the laser removal is! After reading up about it and everyone elses comments I think i will save my money and have my tat removed professionally.

It was a good thought though! Maybe one day you guys will really figure out something that will actually work...from now on i'll ignore your ad on sirius radio!

    ink types

I love my parlor tatoos but I have a few prison
tats that the ink is make of pencil led.Plus they
are on my hand and lower arm. Does wrecking balm
work better on tatoos that arn't real ink.

    too good to be true

I called they won't tell you the price till they tell you all the lies. I don't belive this could work either glad I did a google seach and found this site. Thanks for the info!

    Stick with what works

I have had my tattoo lasered off in treatments and it's not as painful as some would make it out to be and it is expensive but it's working. I've had six for about $1400 and since it didn't come completely off, I have to pay $230 for each after until it does but it DOES work eventually. I only have black letters and it's taking a long time but am still satisfied. Better off taking a while then being stuck on me forever!

    Tattoos are a perminate mistake

I have two small self made tattoos that I would like to remove. After reading some of the blogs I've decided to use a belt sander and grind them off. Hey, it worked for Russell Crow in the movie Gladiator. I did my tattoos when I was young and foolish. I despise the look of them. People who cover their bodies with tattoos have major emotional trama in their twistewd lifes. Nothing cool about getting any tattoos, regardless of their size. As for Wrecking Balm, I'll wait till something has been approved by the FDA until I buy into it's claim. Sounds like another overly priced scam invention.

    working

I have been using Wrecking Balm for about a month now, and I can tell that my tattoo is fading. After use of the exfoliator, it does look like it is brand new, but the next morning, it is lighter. The last person who left a comment needs to learn how to spell, and please don't talk about the "major emotional trama" that people have when they get tattoos. I have five, love four of them, and one of them is a tribute to my daughter. Don't talk about people when you don't know them or their reasons behind their body art.

    perminate mistake

to the guy that said any one who covers their bodies in tattoos have emotional problems in their twisted lives.why dont you take your own personal inventory pale.not everyone who has tattoos has a head issue.worry about your self not every one else.you should go see a doctor for your head.Mr insecurty. oh and bye the way go f your self.

    thanks

glad I found this website and read the wrecking balm comments, because I was ready to jump on the wagon myself, thak god I couldn't remember the phone number. And "jack ass," with the emotional whatever comment, just because you have issues, do not judge others, sounds like a little self inventory is is order. We have all made mistakes, however that does not mean they were emotional short comings that caused us to drink and party with friends and 20 years later have different taste in what we like! YOU DICK.

    Wrecking Balm

Tried it for 28 days. No effect. Took pictures before and after. Na-Da! Returned for refund less shipping. Beware, they try to give you another month for free but then you'll be out of the 30 day money back guarentee. Not a good product.

This is CRAP! It all is that is like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This stuff is bull s*it!!!!!! I spent like $800 on it in the past year. It doesn't work worth a Sh%t! I'm going to invest in a knife like Rambo and cut the skin out where the tat is. Fu$king Bull Sh#t! I'm sick to my stomach on how much I have invested in this dam thing. I have tried other products like this one and nothing works! I have about $4ooo.00 invested in this tat with the price of the tat. Crazy HUH!!!!!!!!

    wrecking balm

I got a sweet tribal tattoo on my arm and every since i got it, all the chicks at hot topic give me that extra little bit of attention while helping me decide between the fallout boy tshirt or the even more legit, panic at the disco tee. Yes life is good. gotta go - mom is waiting outside to pick me up in the mini-van and she'll be pissed if i keep her waiting.
    ps- i'm a moron.

Toxicology and health risks of hydroquinone in skin lightening

    Background
Hydroquinone has been used for decades as a skin lightening agent. As a result of concerns about mid-term effects like leukomelanoderma en confetti and exogenous ochronosis, its use in cosmetics has been banned since January 2001.

    Objective
Until recently no attention was paid to potential long-term side-effects, despite the fact that there are indications that these may exist. It was decided that a clearer picture of these potential long term effects was needed.

    Methods
A literature search was conducted with an emphasis on the biochemistry and toxicology of hydroquinone, benzene and related molecules.

    Results
It appeared that since 1996 an enormous amount of articles have been published on the carcinogenicity of hydroquinone, benzene and related molecules.

The literature search on hydroquinone as a skin lightening agent suggests that possible long-term effects like carcinogenesis may be expected.

    Conclusion
The risks of long-term effects (cancer) of topically applied hydroquinone may no longer be ignored. Based on recent evidence of the potential risks, which are higher than has been assumed up until now, we plead that the use of hydroquinone as a skin lightening agent will be stopped completely.

    I used salt

I used salt and water on gauze to remove a tattoo on my hand. It was a little painful but it worked, I am going to remove another one using the same method.
You wrape a piece of gauze on a tongue depressor and wet it and use salt as an abrasive.
I had to do this like twice to remove the tat.

    Salt

I don't understand how the "I used salt" guy removed his tat using salt water, gauze and a tongue depressor. Please explain

    salt is used by

salt is used by professionals to remove tatoos but it is in combination with a needle, just like receiving one. so how did it work for you? also was it a home made tatoo?

    found website

    www.wreckingbalm.com/docwilson.html
after checking out the website i would not buy the product. i went under the skeptic part and it and seemed like a scam. i guess when you want something bad enough you almost believe anything, thank god for internet cause i think we can save alot of money if we take each others advice and just save for laser!!

    Dermatologists

This stuff is an acid peel. it's the same thing Dermatologists use for skin peels. I can understand how it might not remove ink from tats that are so deep they've scared, but I have two that are fairly new and close to the surface (pro done) and this stuff is fading them faster than I expected. They are now a lighter shade than a five year old, untreated tat that's been exposed to lots of sun. It's only been a month!
I do use Niacin too which might be helping. It burnslike hell but it's a great pore cleanser.

    Tatt2d4Lyf

To the loser who said "his sleeves ensure that he will always have a cashiers job" Maybe it's just your piss poor attitude that will ensure you will always be a cashier (not that there is anything wrong with being a cashier, but you made it out to be a negative). I have sleeves, and a six figure income, with no College education. Don't blame the tattoos. Maybe they sell a brain eraser as well.

    Tattoo Removal

For those who really want to remove a tattoo, invest in the laser treatments if you can afford them. Yes it is expensive, but it works. About a year ago I got an armband but the artist did a really sloppy job and it just looks bad. I've gone for two treatments so far, and have another one later this week. The tattoo is already breaking up. It's not as painful as you might think. A licensed MD will be able to use an anesthetic. Also, he's done with the treatment in about five minutes. I tried a TCA peel first, which seemed to work initially, but after the third application I noticed no fading, but it was starting to rip up my skin. Then I tried the creams to no avail. Don't waste your time on the scams. I learned the hard way.
