It is not something that would give you a migraine, but it is indeed quite a problem when tattoos start to lose their appeal. In fact, if those hearts, flowers, snakes or whatever marks you had your tattoo artist painted on your body start to annoy rather than amuse, you might as well start thinking of ways on how to get rid of them.

After enduring the painful process of getting those now regrettable marks from a licensed tattoo artist, you are now finding ways to get rid of these body marks and hope that you don't have to go through a painful (again?) solution to address the dilemma.

Good thing there is indeed a painless way to tattoo removal. Rank My Tattoos provides an article that talks about a wonder cream that can successfully remove tattoos within a couple of weeks. Here is what the article has to say:

The makers of Wrecking Balm boast of their magical product: a cream that causes your tattoo to fade away. The process requires a system of physical tissue deconstruction along with the cream as well as botanical chemical peels.

However, the main factors one must consider before jumping on the bandwagon are the ink density, depth, surface size, and color of the tattoo. In order to be successful with the cream, you must use it consistently for weeks to get any type of results. After a few weeks, your body's ability to renew surface cells becomes stronger and the skin will be regenerated, causing the tattoo to fade.

Now that's absolutely a painless method to fade those tattoos away. If your tattoos are qualified for removal based on the criteria given, then you are on your way to freedom from those now unsightly marks. And with the cost of $150 and a money-back guarantee, it's absolutely pain-free and worry-free. If this isn't the best deal ever, I don't know what else to call this.

  • Wrecking balm info

I just called wrecking balm (1 888 465 1964)and the lady that i spoke with seemed really knowledgeable about the product. It may not work for some tattoos (as stated above) or at least not as well due to the depth, density, and age of the tattoo. They also don't recommend it on large tattoos. The lady also said that they have been advertised in Spin and Rolling Stone magazine, I guess she was just trying to make it sound more legit. Right now they are having a promotion for a 2month supply of $164.95 and 60 day money back guarantee. So I don't know, sounds like a win win situation. try it and if it doesn't work, return it for a full refund. Oh, and responding to the statement of wrecking balm making the tattoo look newer- the website states that that will happen since the inks get closer to the skins surface. The website doesn't look very legit but try calling before making any decision.

    TO THE DOCTER/BIOCHEMIST......

FYI, acetic acid is completely different from TCA (tri-chloro-acetic acid). Both are NOT strong acids due to their respective kpas. Some how i get the feeling you are not a real doctor, chemist or other healthcare professional. If you are, I guess the fact that I have more knowledge of acids and simple o-chem compounds is a testament to our healthcare system here in the us. Also, just because something has a structure similar to another (such as benzene and hydroquinone) does not mean they will react the same, or have the same health effects. I'm not saying hydroquinone is safe, just that you can take benzene and make asprin out of it. To put it bluntly, I don't trust anything you said, mainly cause I know better.

    Salt and Lemon injections

Melissa, I would also like to see your results. My e-mail is

    Tattoo Removal

I would suggest consulting with a dermatologist as far as the best removal strategy for you. Personally, if I like a design that I like, I'll hold on to it for a year or so before it goes on my body. That way I'll know if the tattoo has any sort of lasting effects emotionally and that I really want it for the rest of my life. But mistakes do happen and an acid peel got rid of some letters on my behind. Haha. It took several months 2 times a week but its gone now. People make mistakes, but I know now to treat my body like a canvas, not a doodle pad. Tattoos rock.

    its all a scam

I started using wrecking balm and my wife left me cause my penis got smaller and i still have the tats only now it looks like i have a skin condition if you don't want your tats I suggest you take a knife and cut it out other wise keep using the balm and have no penis or i should say have another tattoo because thats what my penis looks like know oh yeah I also know have to sit down to pee

    Tattoo Removal

I have been trying to remove 3 tattoos that I really, really wasn't thinking when I got them. Loved dolphins at the time, guess I thought when I turned 30 I still would!!! Wrong..anyway...I am using 100% medical grade TCA Peels. It is an acid peel, like you would use to remove wrinkles, acne scars, freckles, ect. It works!!! After one time they are extremely lighter and it is almost pain free. The only thing that hurts is letting the acid sit there before you clean it off. I buy it from a lady on Ebay and it is great. The one on my shoulder is almost gone only after one treament so woohooo!!! Oh and did I mention it is less than $30 bucks....my tats cost more than that even the little ones on my feet.

    baby momma drama

There are 8 pages of people totally bagging on this shit... get a fucking clue and learn how to read. It's a scam. It doesn't work. Is that to the point enough?

    Yep, it does work. Really.

First and foremost I find it sad that people are posting about harmful chemicals that are NOT ingredients in our product. TCA? no. Hydroquinone or whatever? no. Those cause SKIN DAMAGE. Look, there is really nothing we can say to you to prove that it works, right? Wrong. We have clients and employees that have successfully gotten rid of their tats. Are you seriously going to inject salt and lemon juice into yourself when you have an opportunity to try something that was DESIGNED and TESTED by both dermatologists AND tattoo artists? That took over 5 years of clinical testing to gain FDA approval? Look, bottom line here is that we have something that will get rid of your tattoo, but 1/2 the work is based on YOUR due diligence... just like Weight Watchers, if you don't exercise and eat crap food, you're not going to lose the weight.... with us, you have to use the system as directed. That does make sense, right? Let's think about this from a scientific point of view, which I'm sure will properly convey how this works. Fact: skin regenerates itself every 2-3 days. It does this from the inside, out. Right? Ok, so when you exfoliate the upper dry dead skin layers, you are simply stepping up(expiditing) the body's natural process of skin renewal. This is what we do in our first step. Fact: solvents break down binding agents within pigmentation. So, when you use our second step, a spray-on solvent, it goes into the open pourous area we've exposed with the first step, and breaks up the binders, forcing the ink to the surface. Fact: Properly hydrated skin functions and looks better. Therefore, our third step (our cream) will allow the skin to work with us in ridding you of this tat. Fact: if you lived to be 200, the tat would be gone naturally as the skin regenerats itself over the course of years anyway... BECAUSE EACH TIME your body grows a new layer of skin, from the inside out, it pushes the ink inserted at the 2nd-3rd epidermis layers of the skin, up closer to the surface. This is why your tattoo has faded over time. I hope this explaination has clarified some questions and doubts. Are we proud of ourselves for figuring it out? yes. Do we get a bit pushy and irritated when you don't believe us? yes. Whatever. If you want to get rid of your tat, at least give us the opportunity to show you how this works. Give us 8 weeks. If you don't love what it does, we give you your cash back. Use it towards laser if you don't love it. We've been in business for 8 years, and enjoy the highest rating the Better Business Bureau has to offer. I don't think that would be the case if we were a "scam" right? Call us, you'll be friggin psyched you did.

    Wrecking Balm

Wow, I can't believe how many people are willing to rip on a product you haven't tried. The few people on here that did try it (for more than a week) had decent things to say. Everyone else made their assumption based on a bunch of opinions from people they don't even know. I've been using Wrecking Balm on 2 tattoos so far and only got a little bit of 1 left. I've had friends go thru tons of laser treatments to no avail and spent thousands of dollars(I can promise you none of them got their money back), when will people realize that doctors are the biggest scam artists in the world, they prescribe drugs for diseases that don't exist, they create disorders for every whiney American who wasn't hugged as a child. PEOPLE WAKE UP AND MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS!!!! I figured hey, if I like Wrecking Balm then I'll get rid of my tats for a fraction of the price, if I'm not happy then I'll get a refund (less s+h $15)and put that money towards laser. Lucky for me 1 tattoo is already gone, the other is right behind it and I haven't spent over $400 yet, but let me be the one to say, don't believe what you read, not on here, not what they say at Wrecking Balm, believe your own 2 eyes, if it works keep using it, if not call and get your money back. But I can say IT WORKS!!!!!! For those of you who aren't willing to try it RISK-FREE I don't know what to tell you.

    TATS R GREAT!!!

I have five tattoos and i love each and every one of them. I honestly feel that even when i am 65 i will still look at them and feel that happiness that made me get them in the first place. They definetely are not for everyone and I am glad i waited till I was 21 to get any. Some people want their tats removed and if that is what makes them comfortable then they should do that. don't judge anyone who has them just because you made a dumb decision.

    WRECKING BALM

I CALLED AND PLACED AND ORDER FOR THE WRECKING BLAM. I WAS TALKED IN TO $315 WORTH OF STUFF (MORE OR LESS PUSHED INTO IT) AFTER ALL WAS SAID AND DONE, I FOUND IT JUST A TAD BIT ODD THAT SHE WANTED TO RECORD MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION AND NOT THE INITIAL CONVERSATION. I CALLED THE BANK RIGHT AWAY AND HAD THEM CXL MY CARD!! I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!! I WILL WAIT FOR SOMETHING SIMILAR TO BE SOLD AT DRUG STORES!!!

    Just Recieved my wrecking balm

Wrecking balm has only been around for about 2 years. When it first came out it was just a skin lightening cream now they changed their procedure to a microderm abrasion. The skin lightening cream didn't work well on professionally done tattoos but worked better on "homemade" tattoos. due to the depth of the tattoo and the different inks. I just got my wrecking balm kit in the mail and went through my first treatment. It didn't hurt at all but the creams and stuff are kinda weird smelling and greasy. I'm a little skeptical if it's going to work but we'll see! If it doesn't work I can always get my money back! I'll keep you updated.

    Wrecking Balm

Notice these guys only have a phone number on their page? No email or snail mail address. That kinda thing is enough to turn me away.

    To the comment posted 8/7 @ 6:48

It is not odd that we record your information after you gave it to us... as a matter of fact, it's required, as we're monitored by the FCC, and partner with the BBB. What you went into was a 3rd party verification system to ensure YOUR saftey. Any OTHER company that doesn't do this, BEWARE, there will be no recorded records of your transaction, therefore no proof in your corner if you are overcharged fradulently. Again, we've been in business 9 years... we're going to CYA us and you. Oh, and by the way, any of you planning to order via credit card and you're still on the fence, just call the 800# on the back of your visa/mc/amex/discover after you order. They'll monitor the transaction for you from the day you order, and protect you if you're really worried about it... that's why you pay interest & fees. See? We're consumers just like you.. we know what's up.

    Snail mail/email addy

We are located in Scarborough, Maine. We have a PO Box, which we'll happily provide you upon request. Why do you need an email address when you can call us directly? Wouldn't you prefer a personal touch to your personal choice to remove the tat in the first place? For me, I think it's a breath of fresh air in today's automated world.

    Is it worth it?

I have 5 tattoos. only one was done professionally. I have two that I cannot stand. Both of which have my ex boyfriends name in them. Both of them are not completed and trashy looking. One is down the center of my back and across my shoulders. The other is just past my elbow on my right arm. It is faded and looks horrible. the ink is barely there. I wonder if Wreckingbalm will work on something like that.

    Lasers

Just my experience with lasers. I have a knuckle tattoo, went to a plastic surgery place that said it'd be gone in 5-10 treatments. Everytime I went, it would blister all up after from being burned. After 10 treatments, wasn't lighter at all. So I started researching and theres suppossedly this super laser thats the cats meow for tattoo removal. So I found one in my area, the Dr. thats doing it said that the plastic surgery place was probably using a hair removal laser, that it shouldn't blister up. So 3 treatments so far with this "super laser" and I can tell a huge difference, and she is giving me scar tissue treatments for free, the other laser created scar tissue which makes it harder to get out. So I vote this laser kicks ass.

Its called a Medlite C6. 5 treatments ran me $350

    Tattoo Remove

Hello guys and gals, ok Ive been one unlucky guy, I got a tattoo that I didnt like, so I faded it down with about 8 laser treatments spaced out about 6 weeks per treatment, yes it hurts and yes its expensive, but I must say it did fade, I got it faded enough to cover up, I went to a supposedly reputable artist, only to have the cover up f*cked up by an artist who had bitten off more than they could chew, if they cant do the design they shouldnt advertise it, anyways, I figured Im not going through another 8 laser sessions because it hurts like a biatch, so I tried some of the following alternatives-

The rejuvi removal system called erase, basically a cream tattooed into your tat, scab forms, scab falls off and takes away the ink, utter shit, doesnt work, scars, takes ages to heal, dont touch it.

Tattoo erase, a similar concept, but its a liquid tattood in small circles all over your tat, wait for the scabs to fall off, and hey what do you know it works, only downside is it takes ages to remove any significant chunks of your tatt because they remove the tattoo in tiny dots, so no quicker than laser really.

The lemon juice and salt salabrasion technique takes ages to break the skin, and hurts too, wouldnt bother with it unless your tat is an amateur tat.

So now Im about to start a TCA removal course, which im fairly confident will fade it significantly, I will post a link to some pictures when Im well into the treatment to show you guys how it goes.

Oh by the way dont be silly enough to believe that a rub in cream will rid you of your tat, bottom line is basically to dmage the tat you have to get through 4-5 layers of skin, a rub on cream would never go that deep

    What I've tried

I've tried laser twice in the past and was very impressed with the results. Unfortunately, I ran out of money (story of my life). It can very expensive for multiple treatments depending on the size and depth of the tat. Laser is almost a sure thing though, but they make no promises in regards to the length of treatment... so in the end, you get what you're willing to pay for. If you don't mind the cost and you're paitent, it'll completely remove you're ink. It isn't all that painful either. But it does start to get old after the first ten minutes of treatment and begins to fell like a large cigarette burn. The first session is actually pretty impressive. The basic dark and flat colors like black, gray and white absorb most of the laser and disappear almost immediately. The lighter and more metallic colors like yellow and light green tend to reflect the laser and are a bit more tricky to get rid of.

If you've got limited money, but unlimited endurance you may want to try Tat Gone Ink also. I sat through one session and saw immediate results. The draw back is that a tattoo artist has to use a tattoo gun and basically tattoo over the offending tattoo. You will actually bleed the ink out while they are doing it. I'm not certain how it works, but I think the substance bonds with ink and as your body pushes it out, it takes the ink with it. Then while it's healing, you're body's lymph system breaks down the remaining ink and absorbs it. This method will also take multiple sessions. It's much more painful than laser, but it's considerably cheaper.

    Hope that helps

    TATS

does it work or what tha fuck

    WRECKING BALM

I ORDERD WRENCKING BALM AND HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS EVERY OTHER DAY. I HAVE NOTICED THAT MY TATOO HAS FADED QUITE ALOT. I GOT MY TATOO ABOUT 9 YEARS AGO AND IT WAS HOME MADE. I DONT KNOW IF THAT MAKES A DIFFRENCE BUT SO FAR ITS WORKING FOR ME.

What is Your Favorite Removal Method?

I have tried TCA...didn't work for me. You can read all about my experience at Tattoo Disappear Site I am saving up for laser removal and really hoping that will work. I wish the creams really did work but it appears they don't. Has anyone had real success with a tatoo removal method? Lately I am just obsessed with finding the best makeup to cover them up.

    TCA hopefully works

I just ordered for the TCA Ebay deal, so hope it works on my tat. My tat is on my upper back / right shoulder area, so isnt really publicly displayed (except w/ no shirt). . .but i wanna get rid of it and dont wanna spend in excess of 3 figures for any method short of dermatologist or laser. Wrecking balm may possibly work, but there simply can't be any ingredient or formulation method to it that justifies the expense of it. Just a bunch of "poindexters" probably using existing treatment ingredients under a flashy name w/ expensive price tag to gouge us all. No thanks -

    TCA

Those of you considering TCA REALLY need to do your research on this method. Specifically why it's being pulled from the market by the FDA. Just a friendly thought from us here at Wrecking Balm :).... by the way, thank you to all of you calling in and really giving us the opportunity to earn your business! It's been awesome to hear from you and to join you in your journey! We apologize in advance for your wait, we are just crazy busy!

    wrecking balm

Don't go by the FDA. They'll approve anything if they are paid enough and their "research" is not very in depth.

    Thank- you

I'm so glad I found this site, now wrecking balm has one less sucker.

Same results but for $6 at walgreens

I seen this on another blog, where some guy tried the magical formula above, he said go to Walgreen's by skin lightener, same amount of hydroquinone 1% as in the majic tat remover and by a apricot scrubb rub... its $6 and does the same job.. oh the vitamins, yes you need vitamins and you have the same majic package as wreckers!!

apply and scrub, apply and scrub pop a vitamin!!
get laser too, laser works great with dark ink but bad with light colors so use both and you should have a great results, as hydroquinone lighten the light tat colors not the dark ones.

    TCA is the cheapest

TCA is a chemical that can be found at any drug store and it does remove tattoos. When applied it stings just like getting a tat, but the sting is a little less. You apply it once every six to eight weeks.(it's powerful stuff)Then you give the area like a week to relax before applying again. I have twelve tattoos from when I served in the Navy. (it's a sailor thing) my tattoos have nothing to do with mental crap. I don't understand where that jackass got his comment from but I'd sure like to whip his ass! DO NOT BUY WRECKING BALM!!!!!!!!!!!
