It is not something that would give you a migraine, but it is indeed quite a problem when tattoos start to lose their appeal. In fact, if those hearts, flowers, snakes or whatever marks you had your tattoo artist painted on your body start to annoy rather than amuse, you might as well start thinking of ways on how to get rid of them.

After enduring the painful process of getting those now regrettable marks from a licensed tattoo artist, you are now finding ways to get rid of these body marks and hope that you don't have to go through a painful (again?) solution to address the dilemma.

Good thing there is indeed a painless way to tattoo removal. Rank My Tattoos provides an article that talks about a wonder cream that can successfully remove tattoos within a couple of weeks. Here is what the article has to say:

The makers of Wrecking Balm boast of their magical product: a cream that causes your tattoo to fade away. The process requires a system of physical tissue deconstruction along with the cream as well as botanical chemical peels.

However, the main factors one must consider before jumping on the bandwagon are the ink density, depth, surface size, and color of the tattoo. In order to be successful with the cream, you must use it consistently for weeks to get any type of results. After a few weeks, your body's ability to renew surface cells becomes stronger and the skin will be regenerated, causing the tattoo to fade.

Now that's absolutely a painless method to fade those tattoos away. If your tattoos are qualified for removal based on the criteria given, then you are on your way to freedom from those now unsightly marks. And with the cost of $150 and a money-back guarantee, it's absolutely pain-free and worry-free. If this isn't the best deal ever, I don't know what else to call this.

  • laser treatments

I HAVE TWO TATTOOS THAT I AM CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF REMOVING WITH LASER SURGERY, ONE ON EACH UPPER ARM. THEY ARE BOTH GOOD SIZES ABOUT THE SIZE OF MY HAND. JUST SO YOU ALL KNOW LASER SURGERY HURTS VERY VERY BAD, ITS NOT LIKE GETTING A TATTOO. ALL I CAN SORTA RELATE IT TO IS BACON GREASE... TIMES 100. ITS A FAST TREATMENT LAST ABOUT 3 MIN ON EACH ARM FOR ME, BUT YOUR IN HELL THE WHOLE TIME. I WOULD DEFINETLY NOT BUY THIS WRECKING BALM STUFF SINCE MOST OF THE COMMENTS ARE THAT IT DOESNT WORK. AND FOR THE PRICE...NO THANK YOU. YOU COULD JUST GO ONLINE AND BUY PCA SKIN PHAZE 13 PIGMENTATION GEL WHICH HAS A HIGHER % OF HYDROQUINONE AND THEN EXFOLIATE WITH ANY FACIAL OR BODY SCRUB. BUT AS FOR LASER SURGERY ITS VERY PAINFUL AND VERY VERY EXPENSIVE SO PLAN TO STICK WITH IT OR ELSE ITS A WASTE OF MONEY. BUT IT REALLY DOES LIGHTEN AND FADE YOUR TATTOO. I HAVE HAD 6 TREATMENTS SO FAR, THEY HAVE TO SPACE THEM OUT ABOUT 4-6 WEEKS EACH TIME AND MINE ARE ABOUT 700-800 EACH TIME. I HAVE HAD BLISTERING PRETTY BAD TWICE. THIS IS NOT FOR THE WOOSIES, AND THIS IS NOTHING LIKE GETTING A TATTOO...ITS BAAAAADD. BUT ITS WORKS :)

    LASER TREATMENTS 2

I JUST READ SOMEONES COMMENT ABOUT THEM HAVING ALOT OF COLOR... MINE DOES TOO ALOT OF REDS, PINKS, BLUE AND GREEN. IT DOES TAKE AWHILE FOR THE GREEN BUT IT DOES EVENTUALLY FADE. THEY HAVE A SEPERATE LASER MACHINE JUST FOR THE GREENS WHERE I GO: SACRAMENTO SKIN AND LASER SURGERY CENTER ITS IN DOWNTOWN SACRAMENTO CA. AGAIN IT HURTS BUT YES IT WORKS WICH I COULD POST PICTURES AND I WOULD SHOW THE DIFFERENCE SO FAR. ITS AMAZING AND FOR ME WORTH THE MONEY

    from the WB sales floor.......

    Hi guys,
The more and more I read this site the happier I am to be working for wrecking balm :). In regards to the comment posted Sept. 27, our customer service number is an 888 number, not an 800 number. Again, we're in Maine, we're not an international establishment. For those of you looking for more validation about our company, and to eliviate your skeptisism, please log onto www.bbb.org (better business's site) and check out our company (Preval). No complaints, a perfect record for the past 36 months.... not bad for a company with hundreds of thousands of clients :). Now, just to get into the heads of some of you consumers, we EXPECT you to want to make an educated decision. Do you really think if Wrecking Balm didn't work that #1: We would have such an outstanding record with the BBB? and #2: We would still be in business this long if people were returning our product? Think about it. How in the world would we make money if we are just giving it back to people? That makes no sense. We take hundreds of orders, everyday. The bottom line is, unlike the other "solutions" available to you, we back ours in writing. Everyone knows documents of that nature are binding us to be with you until your tat is were you want it to be... faded away or enough to cover it, we'll be there. We're a skin care company, we do this all day, everyday. Please, stop hurting yourselves with things that burn and blister your skin or turn it white. Stop risking your health. Stop wasting your money.

Since the WB salespersons seem to have no problem expressing themselves on this site, why haven't they listed their active ingredients here and also told you fine people how they expect a creame to penetrate through the dermis to "remove" the tattoo which can be between the thickness of a dime to a nickle deep. I understand they may say through your pores but then you would be left with lots of dots of in left on you since the pigment has been put in the whole area and not just the pores.

    TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!!!

    wrecking balm

When I called the company they told me they had been approved by the FDA and told me the price quickly guy was a little hesitant to get off of phone when I told him I wanted to research more before I bought and he told me he gets commission if I order from him but I was not ready to order thought I was gonna have to hang up on him...I still may buy. I have had 2 laser treatments and while they do eventually work they hurt like hell! If this might have a chance of working It's worth to me... I may use the niacin also as guy above did.

    Wrecking Balm

I have six tattoos. None of which I regret. My husband has 4. He is currently using Wrecking Balm on one of them. It seems to be working ok for him, just not at the speed he would like. Seems to be taking longer than expected, but slowly working. Neither one of us is a head case, we just like tattoos. So the head case feller needs a reality check. There are more of us than there are in his group. Not sure if this helps anybody, but wanted to comment anyway.

    product SUCKS

i order the product, the device didn't work, i had to pay the postage to send it back and if i didn't call and give them the tracking number i would have never recieved my payment. bad company. don't use them.

    Wrecking Balm

This stuff is not what it claims to be . I ordered a 3 month supply at almost $200.00 and went according to the instructions . It did nothing but sand the top layers of skin to create a bit of roughness but never effected the small tattoo they claimed it would easily remove.
When I called concering the 100% refund they offered me about 1/2 if i did not want send the product back to them .
This product definatly does not produce the results they claim. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY !!

Active Ingredient in Wrecking Balm said to cause cancer

search for wrecking balm and you may find an advertisement for TCA tattoo removal - this is a much better alternative to cancer causing ingredients in WB, as well as laser removal. Its MUCH cheaper as well ($50)

Melissa send me the pics of your faded tattoo

To . I am a model & they do not want models to have shoulder tats & I have a pretty big one on my left shoulder. I really want to get it removed also please tell me how the scar turned out. I don't want a very big noticeable scar.

    Don't fall for it!!!

Wrecking Balm has done exactly ZERO to remove, or even fade my tiny, lightly colored tatoo. Last week, they sent ANOTHER kit to me and charged my credit card $99, even though I told them upon my initial purchase that I didn't want any further purchases. Don't waste your time or money. Please.

    wrecking balm vs lasers

Hey, is anyone concerned about what happens when the lasers break the dyes down and your body has to absorb it? I am concerned because i have no idea what the ink is made of, and i dont want to do something that will hurt my kidneys or something just to get rid of puff the magic dragon on my ankle--lol
to the wrecking balm guy who obviously checks this site daily: please for all of us -- list your ingredients and let us know which one everybody thinks causes cancer and why you guys are sure it doesnt -- also maybe you should try to exploit peoples fears of having their body absorb the ink vs it being removed externally instead of just talking about how many customers you have, it sounds cocky and plus we all know how well you scam people so of course you have tons of customers -- are any of them satisfied? how come your website only has 1 before and after pic when you offer people free wrecking balm for sending in before and after pics?? And you said, how can we make money if everyone sends their product back? -- because people miss the deadline and dont get their refund, or you tell them to keep it and get half their money sooner, and you set every new customer up as a "club member" or something so they just keep getting shipments even if they dont want them. We see through all of your stupid sales tactics, but we all obviously want to get rid of our tattoos, so if your product really works you should be able to prove it with concrete evidence, like pictures, and if you do make us actually sure it works then you will have satisfied customers, not just pissed off people who feel ripped off. the employees would probably sound more cheerful when we call if they didnt have to listen to people bitch about the product all day. your attempts at "damage control" by posting on this site are so far completely in vain -- nobody believes you!

    sigh

Well, I am grateful to have come across this page. I covered myself with tattoos when I was younger, and although I don't have a problem with them (only when trying to pick out a party dress for an elegant occasion without looking like I just got into a paintball fight), I'm sick of the way others treat me because of them. I heard this stuff was the cat's meow and almost fell for it. Thanks for all of your input. And for helping me save the $$$.

P.S. Does anyone else find it strange that with all the current technology and cosmetic re-vamping we have, NO ONE has been able to come up with an effective way to completely remove tattoos?

    No miracles.... Only Lasers.

I've tried EVERYTHING. The only thing that has worked for me is Lasers. Whomever says that it isn't painful is a freakin liar. It hurts... bad. I have a very broad tolerance for pain... that isn't a walk in the park thats for sure. I have a tat on my left arm that is 9.5 inches wide by 12.5 inches long. I am amazed by how well the laser has worked for my tattoo removal. If your considering tattoo removal... go with the laser... if your serious in getting rid of it. Otherwise your just going to be wasting your $$$.

P.S. PLEASE DO NOT listen to that fool who recommended you use salt and gauze. Leave the infections up to that guy. I'm a RN so I know.... that guy is extremely unintelligent.

    shame

please no one take this in a bad way, but it is a shame that we have 2 spend 10 times as much 2 get the tat removed then we did getting it put on. im glad i came 2 this web site, cause i was looking for a cheaper way 2 removal my tat. i guess now im gonna go with the laser. i just hope i can find a good doc in my area.

    tat cover-up

has any one actually got a tattoo covered up 2 look like their own skin? if so was is successful?

    Was 16 and stupid

I have this tattoo that I did myself when I was 16 and its on my (L) breast, its of the WuTang clan and its just horrible, there is no color just a green ink that we used and I want to know what would be the best way to remove it, I was going to try the wreckingbalm but after reading this site I don't want to try it if its not 100% and I know things are always different for other people but would this work for me or what should I really do? Thanks in advance

    Alpha Hydroxy Lotion

Has anyone ever tried Alpha Hydroxy Face Lotion on a tattoo removal? I read somewhere that you can buy it at your local drug store for under $10 & that it works. Im curious to find out if anyone has ever tried this. My understanding is that whatever product you buy has to have atleast 8% Alpha Hydroxy acid (glycolic acid) in it. And that it has to be one of the top ingredients listed. I read that if you rub it on 3 times a day your tattoo will fade away. IS THIS TRUE? HAS ANYONE ELSE HEARD ABOUT THIS? AND DOES IT WORK?

Try not to judge, because some day I may have to judge you

To all of you that have some crazy ideas what a tatoo means. It is something different to each of us. I have 3, and am 48 yrs. old. But each one means something very special to me. I didn't take it lightly. I am very happy I found this sight, because I was going to purchase this so called Fade Cream for my daughter who of course in this day and age had her first at 17, her second at 18 and Surprise!!!!!!!! She doesn't like it. MA!!!!!!Fix It!!!!!!! Thanks again. Know I can't afford Laser but can't afford to throw away hundreds either.

    wrecking balm

i have been using wrecking balm for almost 2 months and i think it is fading my tattoo, only a little tiny bit, but it looks lighter. i think it is going to take a long time to fade it, but i hate the tattoo so im going to keep it up for now -- im scared of laser because i dont want my body to have to break the dye down and give me cancer or something - i dont know whats in the dye so i will keep you posted on my progress, its a BIG green stupid tattoo

    think your tat is bad

I received what i thought was going to be a cool tat over a year ago. It is a snake on my ankle, black and red and green. Come to find out, I was allergic to to red ink and it has been peeling and raised for a year! I have many other tats, but all black ink. In my late 40's, and very frustrated. Looked into laser, but clinic refused as the skin has never completely healed. Never have been to find anyone who can tell me how to heal it up to get to the clinic.
    Any suggestions?????

    Wrecking Balm

I recently saw an ad for Wrecking Balm in a magazine, and it was completely ridiculous, basically giving a fantasy story of a tattoo ruining a marriage!! Come on people. That's absurd. I love my tats and if I didn't love them anymore, then I would cough up the dough and have them covered or removed PROFESSIONALLY. Messing with the delicate balance of your cell regeneration should be left up to professionals, not done at home.

    wrecking balm

Forget it. It does not work and in the end you will NEVER get your money back. These guys are pros.

I have had good luck with other products but not theres.Do not know why I swithced and flushed that good money down the toliet.

    tats

This is the reason why you think long and hard before you get ink,,that way you don't have to deal w/ this S**T!!!!!

    other alternative

I am a tattoo artist at the Pit Studio in Ottawa, il. There are other alternatives. Try Tat-B-Gone. It looks ugly but it works and it goes in just like a tattoo.

    Wrecking Balm Reply

"Is there anyone out there who has used and had good results?"

There are enough negative replies on this site regarding the wrecking balm stuff, for a smart consumer to walk away from this option. I'm now skeptical of anyone who says it works... wrecking balm employees, perhaps??

    the salt method

i was wondering if someone could explain to me how to do the salt and lemon juice that was mentioned on here. i considered doing the wrecking balm thing but i have strong doubts about that and therefore will not put money into it. i did one thing that worked on one of my tats, but it was a small one. i tattoo'd over it with no ink or nothing then put over it the drawing slave that you get from the phamacist. i reapllied this a few times a day every day for like a week i think it was. it faded the tat almost completely gone. i would do this again but i no longer have my gun. so i was wanting to try the lemon/ salt thing. if someone could please let me know. also someone on here had asked if anyone knew anything about goats milk, i tried that....it did not work at all. not for me anyway.others it may work for though.

    Tattoo Removal

I have started my laser removal treatments last February and for a grand total of $2,226.00 (after taxes) and 6 treatments later, they have faded durastically! There is no scarring from the removal and my completely black tats are now only gray outlines of what used to be. I am still not completely finished this procedure, but I do recommend the professional garanteed to be gone way as opposed to spending a couple hundered on something that may just dye your skin.

    just a thought...

You may actually be able to afford laser removal!

So im current college student with bills out the wazoo, (yes you heard me, waazoo!)and i just posted my comment about laser removal and how i recommend it. Well in case you were curious, i go to DermaCare which is a franchise that offers several types skin treatments, laser removal being one of them. i was not able to afford the laser removal either until they told me about a credit card i could apply for so i could just make monthly payments on my treatments. [/i]I know its still a credit card and youd end up paying a little extra in apr costs but in the end its worth it and breakign up the payments like that was a ton easier for me.

    just another thought...

    Wreckingbalm- response to morbid antwerp

In response to morbid antwerp...The FDA dose not approve "all kinds of stuff." It takes close to 7 years to earn FDA approval on anything. It is an extremely strenuous and time consuming process. While the FDA is attempting to be thorough and cautious the public is putting pressure on them and demanding a cure for everything. If they take too long evaluating a drug/device they get drug over the coals for depriving the public of some miracle drug and if they give in to the pressure to expidite the approval process they run the risk of overlooking something- they're damned if they do and damned if they don't. They certainly don't run around giving their stamp of approval to anyone who waives an application under their nose. Drug development and trials takes decades. It is impossible to run clinical trials that will pick up every single possible side effect in every possible patient's circumstances. Point being, the FDA has a far more difficult job that I'm sure you realize and they do an excellent job given their circumstances. Don't claim that they approve anything under the sun that may cause cancer or whatever else when you have no understanding the process.

As for Wreckingbalm, the only portion of Wreckingbalm that is FDA approved is the microdermabrassion device. The cream that supposedly enhances fading and regeneration is not approved by the FDA as a drug or device. The FDA is not responsible for controlling the products, or claims made by products, that are intended as "cosmetics." This is why Oil of O'lay and who ever else can claim to turn the face of a 60 year old smoker into that of a teen beauty queen. This product is simply a cosmetic application- it may work, it may not. The cream is in no way approved by the FDA and the fact that the derm device is should not be misconstrune as an FDA approval of the claim to fade tattoos.
