It is not something that would give you a migraine, but it is indeed quite a problem when tattoos start to lose their appeal. In fact, if those hearts, flowers, snakes or whatever marks you had your tattoo artist painted on your body start to annoy rather than amuse, you might as well start thinking of ways on how to get rid of them.

After enduring the painful process of getting those now regrettable marks from a licensed tattoo artist, you are now finding ways to get rid of these body marks and hope that you don't have to go through a painful (again?) solution to address the dilemma.

Good thing there is indeed a painless way to tattoo removal. Rank My Tattoos provides an article that talks about a wonder cream that can successfully remove tattoos within a couple of weeks. Here is what the article has to say:

The makers of Wrecking Balm boast of their magical product: a cream that causes your tattoo to fade away. The process requires a system of physical tissue deconstruction along with the cream as well as botanical chemical peels.

However, the main factors one must consider before jumping on the bandwagon are the ink density, depth, surface size, and color of the tattoo. In order to be successful with the cream, you must use it consistently for weeks to get any type of results. After a few weeks, your body's ability to renew surface cells becomes stronger and the skin will be regenerated, causing the tattoo to fade.

Now that's absolutely a painless method to fade those tattoos away. If your tattoos are qualified for removal based on the criteria given, then you are on your way to freedom from those now unsightly marks. And with the cost of $150 and a money-back guarantee, it's absolutely pain-free and worry-free. If this isn't the best deal ever, I don't know what else to call this.

  • Does it really work?

I had a tattoo on my upper arm for about 3 years now. My boyfriend told me he heard about this Wrecking Balm on the radio and that I should give it a shot. Because I don't think I could afford the professional kind. Could you buy it in-store?

    Can't afford it

I work fulltime and do not have the time or the money for laser treatments. After reading all of the above comments, I feel as though I am stuck with my tattoos. I have a tattoo on each of my shoulders that I would like removed. I am a mom and work for a lawyer and feel that my tattoos are out dated and not very professional or motherly. What do you all out there recommend?

    Ok - what now?

I too called Wrecking Balm before I found this site. Needless to say, I didn't fall for the hard-sell routine.
My buddy just got out of prison and has two swastikas - one on fingers 2 & 4 on his right hand. Ever tried to get a job with swastikas on your hand? Being an ex-con is strike one and the tatoos are strikes 2 & 3.
He's trying to make it (50 yrs old) and I'm wondering what would be best for him. Laser is out of the question - too expensive. Some "methods" are so bazarre - well, you get the idea.
What's with the "cream" and in spite of the warnings, what do you look for when you want the "exfoliant" and "skin lightener."
Also - what about the UK method - the e-raze Rejuvi tattoo removal system? Has anybody had an experience with that system?

read this if you want the truth.

the truth about Wrecking Balm is it works, and it works well. the people who have said they used it for a year were lying because its only been out for about 6 months. ive checked, and the people who used it for a month or so and gave up because they "didnt see results" were obviously looking for unsrealistic results. not even with laser surgery do you see results that fast. it all boils down to the actual tattoo its self.
a 20 year old tattoo will fade a lot faster than a 2 year old tattoo. and also, this was ink surgically put into the skin, do you really think its going to dissapear over night? i used Wrecking Balm for about 5 months on my 8 year old tattoo and its completely gone. i also have a sister and friend who tried it and it worked for them too. of course they might try to change your mind about returning the product at first, they ARE a buisness, but im sure if you said no they would oblige.
and also to the people who keep saying that laser is garunteed, that is a false statment as well. no laser surgeon will garuntee your results and they CERTAINLY wont garuntee it 100% gone. laser surgery has too much of a scar risk factor and creating scar tissue over the tattoo will trap the ink in almost to the point of absolute permenance.
Wrecking Balm has no scar factor.
it was easy, it didnt hurt, and i was happy with the results. in fact im ordering again for a bigger piece i have on my leg. this one goes from my knee to my ankle, i know it will probably take longer than my arm tattoo did to fade because of the size, but i actually have realistic goals and time frames so im ok with it. especially because its not going to leave a scar AND its saving me $1000's.
to all the people thanking "anonymous" users for their "insight" i would strongly advise against it. i have a big feeling theres a lot of jumping on the band waggon going on here. someone mentioned as well that they "thanked God for the internet, otherwise they would have purchased it"
that statement alone right there is ridiculous.
everyone knows how unbelievable the internet can be.
i mean lets face it. this whole site is FULL of biased opinions. whether they are good or bad. even mine is biased. so why be a follower and go by what some joe shmoe said about Wrecking Balm. you dont know if hes telling the truth. maybe it was how he used it that made it not work. . .maybe he didnt even use it at all.

my advise is to not make a decision based on my or anyone elses experieces, but your own. if you havent seen first hand then maybe you should. its up to you, but i mean seriously. whats the worst that could happen. you dont like it? then youll get your money back.

oh P.S. just another little fact, and you can look it up as well, the main ingredient has only been proven toxic injected or force fed into lab rats and other animals. and at massive amounts as well. so unless your going to drink 10 tons of it your fine. this is just a primary example of people over reacting. im willing to bet that these people arent ALWAYS this carful of what they do to their bodies. how many of you researched the ink before you got the tattoo? how many smoke cigarettes, drink, breath in smog?
trust me theres probably worse things youre doing to your body than Wrecking Balm could ever do

    Thanks

Thank God I read these BLOGS!!! I would have spent time and money on something that does not work. I think I will invenst in Laser removal instead. It's too bad you can't trust people these days.

    Guarantee?????

I got a tattoo when I was 15, big mistake. I looked at many options and after a few years decided to go the Laser way. Surgery leaves a monster burn like scar and everything else had no guarantees of no scarring as well. For my tatto which covered an area about 4.5 by 1.5 inches, it only cost me a total $450 and 4 treatment periods. I followed all instructions for after care and now, nobody knows I had anything there unless I tell them. Glad I waited and researched all my options.

So the moral is, unless its performed by a licenced medical practitioner, and it is a registered Laser practice, don't do it!

thanks for the info : )

im real glad i found this site before i bought this cream. i was so excited too, thought i could finally get rid of my tats i no longer want. but heck, oh well... hope i can afford laser soon! im not buying into this product. it pisses me off that they would actually promote their little radio commercials and everything too, they suck. whoever it is that invents a REAL tattoo removal cream will be very rich. maybe i should just start researching to invent my own! yay!

    Thank you

And to think I was about ready to pick up the phone and place an order. I am so desperately in need to remove my tattoo. It was 13 and stupid. Got a hallf dollar size tattoo between my breast. I can't even wear shirts I'd like to work. Can someone please throw out a figure of how much it would cost to get it lasered?

    Thanks much

    Wrecking Balm vs Laser

I've never tried Wreck Balm BUT I have had 5 laster treatments and am sigining up for another 5. Whoever is saying that they are spending $250 a laser treatment is getting ripped off!!!! Please shop around. I originally went to a doctor and paid $300 a treatment then found out all these new laser hair removal places will also remove tattoos for $70 a treatment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THATS A HUGE A SAVINGS!!!!! They sold me a 3 pack for around $200 as a savings for buying 3 treatments and it's working great. It's my own fault that I need so many treatments because of the size and colors but it's totally disapearring and it's $70 or less a treatment. STICK WITH THE LASERS, MY SKIN HAS NEVER BEEN DAMAGED AND LOOKS GREAT.

    to aiden

the product has only been out 6 months?
funny,,i just got off the phone with the hard sell salesperson at wreckingbalm and she told me its been out for years,,,
now why would their salespeople lie?
    hmmmmmmmm,,,,,

and why is your opinion biased?
do you work for the company? or are you involved with themn in any way?
if so ,,your "opinion" would be meaningless..
i'll side with the "regular people" who have voiced their opinions,,
    thanks

    TCA Peel

I have been reading this thread for a while, and I have started to do TCA peels to get rid of a tattoo on my leg. I have been putting pictures on a blog at blogger. Here's a link...

    http://tca-peel-tattoo-jerdweez.blogspot.com/index.html

    We'll see if it works!!

    Tat removal

TCA peel guy - I saw your blog with you peel, it looks painful. How many treatments do you think it would take to get rid of the tattoo altogether?

About the lemon juice and salt thing....sounds almost logical, but what about the scaring? And does this really work? I've got a tattoo over a tattoo on my shoulder blade and it's got to go. May not look all that lovely in my wedding dress, especially since my in-laws don't even know I have one. *hehe*

    tat removal

Glad I found this site! After I heard the wrecking balm add on the radio, I thought it sounded pretty cool... I have several tats, one which I am currently getting removed by laser. So farits working out well. Slow process but it works. However I haveanother tat that is even larger with alot of colour. I have consulted with almost every laser clinic within 3 hrs of my home and no one has technology advanced enoughto remove it....Thought about that cream but thanks to this site, I will wait till laser technology advances as far as tattoo technology... thanks for the advice

    FUCK WRECKING BALM

    BULLSHIT FUCKING CRAP WHORE PRODUCT

    I bought Wrecking Balm

I bought it after hearing about it on Sirius Radio. Since it was guaranteed, I figured it was worth a shot. I am the perfect candidate for it, so if it doesn't work on me it isn't going to work on anyone. I have a very small portion left of a tattoo I want gone. I had the entire tattoo lasered at least 5 times, but that process didn't even come close to removing the dark blue. So, my tattoo has already been lasered and it's small.

I'm taking photos as the process goes along. Will keep you folks updated. It's been about a week now. The phone sales guy was confident that I could get rid of this one in 60 days based on it's size and previous laser treatments. We will see. I'm skeptical, but hopeful. $150 is cheaper than getting it cut out by a dermatologist and definitely a lot cheaper than more laser treatments.

    Think about it

Ok so I tried the this fucked up product and tat2bgone. Neither worked. I figured that they wouldnt but wanted to see for myself. Like one other person said on here both product seem to fade my skin more than the tattoo. Now I love tattoos but I just have one that I hate everytime I look at it. I finally decided that im gonna scratch getting it removed and just do a badass half sleeve. However to those of you that want yours remove just get it lasered off. Or if your in to pain take a hot iron to it a few time LOL.

    Scam

I called them tonight after hearing the ad on the radio for the first time. The woman was selling HARD and claimed they do NOT have a website. Obviously, they DO, so I can only guess she wanted to sell it to me herself for the commission. I don't know but why else would one of their employees adimately lie to me multiple times? I specifically asked her twice and finally flat out told her I wanted to research their product online prior to purchasing and she basically hung up on me. Smells fishy... thanks to all for the info! My tat is not dark and I can't imagine would be difficult to remove, but this doesn't sound like the best option out there anyway.

    Tattoo Removal

The person who left the comment about lasers is right, its worth the money. My friend got her tattoo completely faded (there's no trace of it and no scarring whatsoever) on her lower back through laser. She paid a lot though, $3000 -$4,000. I went to the Body Art Expo in Pomona a couple weeks ago because I was looking to cover up a bad tattoo my friend did in his garage when I was 14 and ended up finding a place that had a booth there called the Tattoo Removal Center. They claimed to be the most affordable laser clinic in Southern Cal. Ive called a bunch of places and i couldnt find anyone who matched their prices. I came to find out that they use the same laser my friend was treated with which is supposed to be the best laser for removing tattoos (i did my research and compared them to all the others). If anyone has any other places I should look into before I start my treatments let me know.

    Impulse Shopping!

Wow - lots of opinions here! Some from a few dilusional individuals and others from some pretty decent people - "Emotional Trauma"? Who said that? LOL Tattoos are a way of expressing yourself, learning about yourself, documenting a moment in your life never to be forgotten.. artwork you liked, people you loved, days you never want to forget ... And then theres me, 4 years ago, just turning 18 ... A straight A student graduating from high school and a Sunday school teacher/youth leader at my church; who for a moment in time just wanted to feel like a bad ass ... Just to say I did something outlandish and sexy. Really, there was something sexy about being in a tattoo parlor, bare chested with this giant attractive man getting ready to decorate my body with permanent ink (opporative phrase here, permanent)... I felt like the sexiest thing that ever roamed the earth after I walked out of that place!

But I'll tell ya, 4 years later ... looking down in between my breasts at the vertical chinese symbols that spell out my name just isn't so "outlandish and sexy" anymore lol. Actually, it's a little stupid ... did I think I was going to forget my name? No ... it was an IMPULSE BUY! I drove by the shop and said "Yep, I'm going to do something rebellious and hot!" ... not so hot anymore lol. There are some really beautiful tattoos out there and I love to look at the ones other people have gotten and know the story behind it, but I don't think they look so great on me :) Maybe not one so dark and noticable as the one I chose lol. Maybe a little something on a but cheek where the slightest V-Neck sweater wouldn't cause my father to have another heart attack lol. So the Wrecking Balm isn't so great? I'm glad I found this site - saved me quite a bit of money! Thanks to all!

    Pregnant~

is it safe to use the wrecking balm on your stomache if your pregnant?? I have a playboy bunny, and I don't want it on my pregnant belly!!!!!! HELP!

    Saying "No" to Wrecking Balm...

I called their 800# a few days ago just to get an idea of what $$ I'd be paying for the product and when I told the rep that I was going to wait and use my debit card on payday vs. a credit card right then and there... he had the balls to ask me if I had a "personal problem" that was making me opt not to pay with a credit card now vs. waiting. Hard sell is right, I ended up hanging up on the guy in mid sentence... "Tell me why, again, that you are choosing not to use your credit card?" It had scam written all over it...
If they were so confident, why no photos of faded tattoos at their site? Before and after shots? They also note that you get "Branding Butter" with your order. It's no more than industrial foundation base make-up to cover up your tattoo that obviously has not faded or you would not be using make-up to hide it...

    People who get tattoos are

People who get tattoos are trailer trash, & everyone knows that. Tattoo'd people who say their tattos give them attention from the opposite sex, fail to add that the opposite sex attracted to their tattoos happen to all be trailer trash. "Everyone at the trailer park thinks my tattoos are sexy!"

    Tattoo

Ok here it goes. I really screwed myself back in 99. I went and got my EX-WIFES name on my stomach. We were married then LOL. There are 7 letters 1" letters I would love to get it off. I belive the ladies are starting to catch on with the excuses or the lie i have to tell whos name it is. Should I really get this product that will not show or tell you anything or go get it done with lasers. What is the best bet?

Laser isn't all it appears to be

I have had 3 laser treatments on some measly star outline tattoos on my hands and they are barely faded. 750.00 later I am broke and angry. And it hurts like Hellraiser pain. Someone give me a home fix. Now after reading the above comments, I don't trust Wrecking Ball either...help...

    WRECKING SCAM!!

I have tatoo I thought I should remove??

I called and was on phone w lady for about a half hour, all she wanted was to close the deal!!!

I needed more info, I'm glad I did more investigating before buying!!!

Thanks guy's for all the bad reveiws!!!

I will make sure if anyone askes me about product, to not buy!!!

    Salt guy

The person who used salt and gauze. Did you use regular table salt. How much did you have to rub. Did you have to do it till your arm bled? Please explain this process...Very interested in knowing how to do it this way.

    Thanks for the information!

I am SO GLAD that I found this website! I had thought about buying that stuff. I thought it was weird that you can't order at their website. With all of the negative comments here I think I will hold onto my money and try other things. I have tried the TCA peel. I really do think it lightened the tattoos some but I have only done it once. You are only supposed to do it every 4-6 weeks so this process could take a long time but at least it doesn't cost much. It is a bit painful but definitely worthwhile if it works for you. I may have left mine on a bit long because I was so anxious to try it and wanted to get maximum results. I did get nervous because it has left what looks like a sunburn where I used it but after a month that is much less noticeable. I read at a website that that will gradually fade away over the months. I am trying to decide if I should do the TCA peel again as I'm worried that maybe if I do this too many times the sunburn look won't go away at all. Has anyone used the TCA peel long enough to actually completely remove a tattoo? Were you left with any permanent marks from the removal process? To anyone who is thinking of using the TatBGone I tried that and it made the tattoo brighter and more noticeable. I also tried the Dermasal which did nothing for me. The TCA peel has definitely done the most for me. It doesn't cost alot and you can buy it right online. I got mine at eBay.

Wrecking Balm seems to be working

I recently received my wrecking balm kit in the mail. I am using it on a small tatto that is a cover up of another tatoo. after the second use i can now see the outline of the original tatoo, where i couldn't before. So I'm saying so far so good.....

    Wrecking Balm Lie

I just got off the phone with a Wrecking Balm sales rep. I told her that I would like to check out what everyone is saying on the net about this product and she did not want me to. She said, and quote " Just the day before yesterday, I had a customer call who had an eight ball tatooed on there ankle and that it was almost gone in just 6 months" I asked her "When did he call" She said "Day before yesterday" I said "Wow you guys are quick because I am at the website and there is already a picture of this guy on there." She still tried saling me this product and asked me why I did not want it. I said because you are a liar. Buyer Beware!!!!!!!

    LOL

this is pretty funny shit !
